Why Villars
Villars has great diversity as a resort and is a year round mountain paradise for activities.
In Winter the ski pistes offer something for everyone. There are some confidence building beginner runs and it’s a great place to learn to ski. For complete beginners, the journey will start at the beginner's zone in Bretaye, which is best accessed via the train from Villars. You will learn to ski in the heart of the ski area and not at a slope away from the action. It is great to have a range of challenging slopes also to keep our intermediate and advanced clients happy. With the unique knowledge of our in resort staff we will also happily show you the best runs, the snow park and the hidden powder zones. Working closely with SnowPros ski school, our instructors and international mountain guides will arrange an incredible winter experience.
Along the Rhone valley, you will find this hidden gem of a resort . Villars is linked with Gryon and Les Diablerets (Host of the 2020 Youth Winter Olympic Skiing) and has over 120km of pistes, it is also linked with several other ski resorts which include Glacier 3000 the highest ski area in the Vaud canton. Our Villars-sur-Ollon ski school meeting point is located at the bottom of the Roc d'Orsay telecabine or for beginners in front of Hotel Du Lac. However, unlike other Villars ski schools, SnowPros instructors are happy to arrange to meet you anywhere in the resort including your hotel/accommodation.
Upon arrival in Villars our resort representatives are able to meet you and show you exactly where to park, help with check in, assist with equipment hire, give you your pre booked ski pass, and get you efficiently and happily to your accommodation and ski lesson with minimal stress.
